Each year, the Las Vegas Licensing Expo hosts over 500 exhibitors and 7,000 brands in entertainment, sports, fashion & apparel, publishing, art & design, automotive, animation/anime, home & housewares, and lifestyle. For this past years 2013 show many well known brands including big name brands like Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, and Mattel shared their new and most iconic licensing products. Located at the large convention center at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, each booth was transformed into unique space to host meetings and display each brand’s products.
For the first time last year, Fine Art America attended the show to see the latest trends in the industry and to find the best brands to build partnerships with. Our favorite booths included the dripping slime booth created by Nickelodeon and also the Jim Henson’s puppet filled booth. The four day event started out with an opening after party with music artist Flo Rida. And the main keynote speaker for the show included well known actress Gwyneth Paltrow speaking about “Brands on the Brink of Global Expansion.”
